Google Patents is an internet-based search engine designed to search, browse, and download the full text of the United States patent corpus in order to locate patents, applications, and trademarks. The critical evaluation of this review focuses on the use of Google Patents for reference services in a corporate, research, and development atmosphere, as well as some of the features, advantages, and disadvantages of using Google Patents.
