Thomson Reuters’ RIA Checkpoint is a Web-based tax research and news platform. Geared towards finance, accounting, and tax professionals, as well as upper-division undergraduates and graduate students of financing, users will find a comprehensive database of tax legislation, tax codes, regulations, cases, and rulings, whether federal, state and local, or international. There are more ways than one to conduct searching in Checkpoint. Because there is some level of complexity in the search and navigation functions, training and familiarization in the use of Checkpoint must be considered.
