Blekko

Blekko is a search engine that, like others, provides general internet searching. However, Blekko stands apart through its ability to allow users to create customizable vertical searches. An individual can search selected portions of the internet using Blekko's predefined slashtags or by creating a custom slashtag. Additionally, Blekko removes spam from search results by not indexing known spam Web sites, thereby giving better search results. A unique feature of Blekko is the ability to view search engine optimization data for a Web site in real time. Searches can be embedded in Web sites through RSS feeds or search boxes.
