Treasury of Linguistic Maps Online

The Treasury of Linguistic Maps Online database (TLM) makes available online, often for the first time, linguistic maps from publications by the DeGruyter publishing house, particularly its Mouton imprint. The initial release has approximately 2,000 linguistic maps which have been scanned and enriched with metadata. When complete, the database is anticipated to contain circa 8,000 maps. While the initial coverage is somewhat biased toward English, German, and Yiddish, future releases will undoubtedly balance this by providing better coverage of other areas of the world and language groupings outside of the Germanic branch of Indo-European.
