Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) Archive makes available full-color scans of the trade publication Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) on the ProQuest platform. WWD is an important and long-standing publication for the fashion world. A New York Times writer reports that WWD “is to fashion what Variety is to entertainment or Billboard is to the music world -- the garment trade’s paper of record.” Content is currently available from 1950 forward but ProQuest’s intent is to make the publication’s earliest content available via the WWD Archive in 2015.
