NASA App

Developed by the Ames Research Center, the NASA app is an interactive application for Apple and Android mobile devices. The app is aimed at the general public and there are a wide variety of features that are particularly relevant to librarians, especially those who have begun to circulate tablets and other mobile devices. Particularly useful features for librarians are the mission orbit tracking and the customizable image gallery. The most attractive feature of all is the filtering of a wide variety of NASA’s multimedia and online content into one application.
