publications. Of use to scholars of many disciplines, it is an invaluable source for identifying articles written by the mostly anonymous and pseudonymous authors whose work appeared in the popular press of the time. While ProQuests product does not differ in basic content from the
original print version which appeared in five volumes between 1966 and 1989, efficiencies are afforded by the database, making it a useful addition to libraries that serve scholars engaged in specialized Victorian era research or that already have access to related ProQuest historical content.",
