Berg Fashion Library

Berg Fashion Library is a portal that opens onto the world of fashion and dress throughout the ages. The center piece is the Berg Encyclopedia of Fashion and World Dress, supplemented by Berg’s related e-book and e-journal content and select reference titles. This resource includes an image bank drawn from partner institutions with extensive fashion and costume collections, such as the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and others as well as images from the encyclopedia. Berg Fashion Library is searchable using a custom-built taxonomy that enables searching and browsing by place, time, theme, textile type, and more. Berg is a subsidiary of Bloomsbury Academic Publishing, the largest publisher of academic visual arts. Oxford University Press is the global distributor for Berg Fashion Library.
