New York Review of Books Online
The New York Review of Books (or NYRB) is a biweekly magazine on literature, culture, and current affairs published in New York. Unlike other book reviewing sources, NYRB takes as its point of departure that the discussion of important books is itself an indispensable
literary activity. As such, preeminent writers and scholars of the day frequently contribute lengthy reviews, essays and critiques. A generous amount, about 35%, of the content is free. Inviting and easy to use, it is browsable by date and author and searchable by several categories. Archives
can be accessed back to 1963, the beginning of the publication. The online version takes advantage of 2.0 technologies by offering a stimulating blog, hosting podcasts, and supporting RSS, bookmarking, and sharing.
