Academic Complete from ebrary (a division of ProQuest) is a subscription collection of over 77,000 e-books representing all major scholarly disciplines. An unlimited number of simultaneous users can access the content. It offers a solid base of e-books from a wide array of reputable domestic and international publishers at an affordable price. Books can be viewed on ebrary’s Web-based QuickView platform, the Unity Reader (Java plug-in), or a dedicated iOS/Android app. QuickView allows users to highlight text, take notes, create a personalized bookshelf, copy and paste text, and print/save in PDF up to 60 pages per session. The Unity Reader offers text-to-speech functionality. Users can download up to 10 books at a time for a period of 14 days. Free MARC records are included and ebrary provides metadata to all major Web-scale discovery services.
