Accessible Archives

Accessible Archives (AA) is a suite of full text historical collections that includes period newspapers and magazines, as well as county level information for select U.S. counties and states. The author first reviewed AA in 2006 for The Charleston Advisor and found the collections remain a significant and rich source for primary eighteenth and nineteenth century materials. However, with this review, several issues remain with AA usability.
