OECD iLibrary
OECD iLibrary is the online library of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), offering all books, papers, periodicals, and statistical information published by the OECD since 1998 as well as selected earlier materials. OECD iLibrary replaced SourceOECD in
July 2010 with some significant changes that include a new statistical browser, OECD.Stat, granular indexing of individual tables and chapters, permanent DOIs, a citation tool, and a refreshed look. OECD iLibrary content is highly regarded and, aside from a few minor shortcomings (most notably
the inability to limit searching to subscribed content and the sluggish navigation speed), the interface merits a good review. Institutions in which there is strong interest in international policy or in economics will find a wealth of information here from one of the world's most reputable
statistical and policy analysis organizations. There is also an unexpectedly rich variety of social science data from around the globe that will appeal to a wide academic audience. Although there is more complete data and more analysis of OECD member countries, the OECD collects data on policy
analysis for nearly every country. A pricing matrix is available on the open Web, and even though options are somewhat complex, institutions will appreciate the ability to customize packages according to subject interest and budget.
