Gimlet

Gimlet is a Web-based application for collecting service point statistics in libraries. It includes a knowledge base, a tagging feature, and report maker. Gimlet is easy to use, and the statistical reports are a great resource for analyzing services. The software allows users to go far beyond collecting categorical statistics by providing options for the addition of metadata and a knowledge base for future retrieval of patron queries and answers. The system includes an option to class questions according to the READ Scale, which attempts to give a qualitative description of the service transaction.
